A message from our founder, Joe Lucas:
Since you have reached this site it is likely that you either participated in a prior Arizona Roadrunner or heard about it from someone who has. The concept is simple: In this event you can drive your own car on public roads for free. Our only requirements are that participating motorcars be of British origin built prior to 1980 and that drivers and passengers be of the good-natured sort who enthusiastically embrace the adventure and uncertainty of over-the-road travel in a vintage automobile. Minimal organization is the general rule. Confusing or misleading directions are par for the course. Spontaneity is highly valued. It is all about the journey though we also enjoy the destinations. |
